DAY 1

MUMBAI VIA – REYJAVIK  

  • Assemble at Mumbai International airport to board our flight for Iceland via European Continent.
  • Snack packets will be served compliments of TravelTies.
  • Arrive at Reykjavik Keflavik International Airport. Upon clearing customs and immigrations we proceed to Aurora Museum for Northern Lights information with a guided tour.
  • Later we proceed to Check in Hotel Park Inn by Radisson (Keflavik Airport Area) Or Grand Hotel Reykjavik or Similar.
  • Enjoy dinner at Hotel and spend overnight in Reykjavik.

DAY 2

REYKJAVIK – GOLDEN CIRCLE TOUR – REYKJAVIK

  • After Breakfast, we check out from Hotel & Proceed to visit our most popular “Golden Circle tour”.
  • The Golden Circle takes in three popular attractions all within 100 km of the capital: Þingvellir, Geysir, and Gullfoss. The Golden Circle offers the opportunity to see a meeting-point of the continental plates and site of the ancient Icelandic parliament (Þingvellir), a spouting hot spring (Geysir) and a roaring waterfall (Gullfoss) Þingvellir National Park 23km east of Reykjavík, is Iceland’s most important historical site and a place of vivid beauty. Geyser is the original hot-water spout after which all other geysers are named. Gullfoss- Iceland’s most famous waterfall.
  • Later proceed to Hotel & Dinner and overnight in Reykjavik.

DAY 3

REYKJAVIK – AKUREYRI  

  • After Breakfast we check out and proceed for Akureyri.
  • Enroute photo stop at Turf farmhouses at Glaumbaer Museum – It is declared as a protected site and is now owned by the National Museum of Iceland.
  • Post lunch proceed for Akureyri and enjoy a stroll and walking orientation tour of Akureyri town covering the Church, Botanical Garden, and Old Town pedestrian street. Check-in Hotel Kjarnalundur or similar.
  • Enjoy dinner & spend overnight in Hotel

DAY 4

AKUREYRI – LAKE MYVATN – AKUREYRI 

  • Breakfast at the hotel. Today we proceed towards Lake Myvatn Region.
  • Lake Myvatn and its surrounding area and you could spend a lifetime exploring this area! Some of its unique attractions are Dimmuborgir and the pseudo craters at Skutustadir. Do not miss Hverfjall (also known as Hverfell) which is a tephra cone or tuff ring volcano with a crater approximately 1 km in diameter.
  • Proceed for full day tour of Godafoss, Namaskard – Mt Namafjall .
  • Enjoy dinner & spend overnight in Hotel.

DAY 5

AKUREYRI – INTO THE GLACIER – BORGANES

  • After Breakfast we check out proceed towards Husafell. Arrive at Husafell for a Lunch break.
  • After Lunch we proceed for a guided “Into the Glacier Cave Tour “.
  • The walking tour inside the Glacier is of one hour and the to and fro journey in Super Jeep is 30 – 45 mins one way. A total of 4 hours tour.
  • While returning back to Husafell, we enjoy Barnafoss and Hraunfossar which burst out of Hallmundarhraun which is a great lava plain. Barnafoss is a waterfall in Western Iceland.
  • Hraunfossar, Melting Glacier water in series of thousands of waterfalls flow from the earth crust.
  • Drive back to Borganes to check in Hotel B59 or similar.
  • Dinner and spend overnight in hotel.

DAY 6

BORGANES – SNEAFELLSNESS PENINSULA – BORGANES

  • After Breakfast we proceed for Mt.Kirkjufell – It is a 463 mtr high mountain on the north coast of Iceland’s Snaefellsness Peninsula. It is claimed to be the most photographed mountain in the country. Kirkjufell was one of the filming locations for Game of Thrones.
  • Later we proceed for Lunch. Post lunch head for one hour guided tour of Vatnshellir Lava Cave. A tour guide leads visitors down a subterranean, spiral staircase to explore this ancient lava tube.
  • Return to Borganes to enjoy Dinner and spend overnight at Hotel.

DAY 7

BORGANES – VIK

  • Breakfast at the hotel. We proceed to South Iceland and after Lunch we proceed for Vik Area.
  • Proceed towards Southern Iceland, where we visit the main shooting locations of Gerua Song from Shahrukh’s Dilwale movie.
  • Start with Seljalandasfoss, proceed to Skogafoss – another magical wonder of waterfall in Iceland. There is a hiking trail with around 100 steps to reach on top of hill, It is a must do recommendation to get breathtaking view.
  • Proceed next towards the Black sand beach (one of its only kind in the world)
  • Continue to the black-sand beach of Reynisfjara to see its basalt rock stacks that just out of the sea; according to local legend, the sea stacks were mischievous trolls turned to rock by the rising sun.
  • We proceed to Abandoned Airplane a popular attraction, as it is so dramatic on the back sands around it subject to availability.
  • Later we proceed for Vik and check in Hotel Dyrholaey or similar.
  • Dinner and Spend overnight in hotel.

DAY 8

VIK – JOKUSARLON GLACIER LAGOON – VIK

  • After Breakfast free time for leisure in Hotel. Early Lunch today.
  • After Lunch proceed towards Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon – is a large glacial lake in southeast Iceland, on the edge of Vatnajökull National Park.
  • Later we visit the Diamond Beach for photo stop which is opposite to Jokulsarlon Glacier Lagoon.
  • Drive back to Hotel. Dinner at Hotel spend overnight at hotel.

DAY 9

VIK – REYKJAVIK 

  • After Breakfast, we check out and proceed for Reykjavik orientation tour which includes Sun voyager, Harpa Concert House, Hallgrimskirkja Church and go up the lift to get an Ariel view of the city.
  • Later we proceed for Flyover Iceland 4D. Enjoy Lunch.
  • Post Lunch today we Proceed to visit the Most awaited and Famous Blue Lagoon a unique geothermal spa situated in a lava field south of Reykjavík (40 Kms – 35 mins drive 1 way) (Blue Lagoon entry with 1 drink, towel & face mask included.) Costumes to be brought by passengers.
  • Post blue lagoon we depart back to Reykjavik. We check in Hotel Grand Reykjavik or similar.
  • Dinner at Hotel spend overnight at hotel.

DAY 10

REYKJAVIK – VIA – MUMBAI

  • Today post breakfast, we shall check out and proceed to airport to board our flight for Mumbai.
  • Arrive Mumbai International Airport and Return home with happy memories of the tour.
